Lead Pastors Eli and Candy Serrano hail from Western Massachusetts, where Eli was born and raised in a large family of musicians and singers. Growing up, he developed a deep love for family, community, and the New England region. Eli holds a strong belief that his placement in this area is divinely ordained. With a natural inclination towards innovation, coupled with business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit, he has explored various ventures, from performing in a band with childhood friends (many of whom are now integral members of Restoration City) to establishing his own business. However, in 2009, Eli felt the call of God to embark on a journey into ministry, alongside his high school sweetheart and now wife, Pastor Candy.
Their partnership is a testament to the beauty of their union, which permeates every aspect of the church and its ministries. While Pastor Eli’s dynamic presence commands attention from the pulpit, Pastor Candy’s meticulous attention to detail and behind-the-scenes efforts shape the essence of Restoration City. The church’s very essence reflects qualities of humility, servant leadership, boundless optimism, and a fervent commitment to prayer and community building.
As their ministry continues to flourish and positively impact the region, so does their family. In 2022, they joyfully welcomed Miles Simpson into their fold through the marriage of their daughter Alyssa. Together with their children, Alyssa and Miles Simpson, and Isaiah, the Serranos are fully dedicated to ministering to and serving the community they hold dear, leading them back to Christ.
As you consider investing your heart, time, family, and finances into the life of a church, it is important for you to feel confident in church leadership. Our goal in sharing the details of Restoration City’s leadership team is that you will understand that our church is structured to support the values of integrity, accountability, and spiritual authority.
Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. Our hope is to give you a place where you experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people. We keep our focus simple : Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created them.
