Heart for the House

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’“–Acts 20:35

This is a special moment when you are encouraged to move in faith. We ask that you prepare your hearts and communicate with God to set your intentions and expectations for the seeds you will sow in faith in the coming year. Adopt a posture of generosity and give through the lens of grace. Remember, it is through His grace that we are all saved.

Once a year we set aside a special offering above and beyond our tithes. However, this is not a stand alone event, but rather an ongoing demonstration of spreading God’s love that we begin in this season during Heart for the House Sunday.

We know our God to be a promise keeping God. He is faithful in fulfilling His promises. His promises are “yes” and “amen.” A promise is an offer of a guaranteed result. Your heavenly Father wants to offer you something with a guaranteed result.

Come alongside us as a church to bring forth your promise, with prayer, to make a declaration of what you believe God will do for your families. It’s very prophetic and very powerful. As you take on making declarations:

Then on March 24, 2024, come together with your family and align your declarations (the seeds you are planting of what you are believing God for in faith) with the word that applies to you and your circumstances. And once you’ve heard from God, we pray that you’ll be moved to give God your best offering.

Know that it is through your generosity that we are able to continue to have a lasting impact in this region and across the nations. As a church, our focus of giving falls within the following five legacy lanes:

  1. Next Generation: we want our young people to be empowered by the word of God
  2. Our Church: we want to fulfill projects to continue to pour out the Holy Spirit to as many people as possible
  3. Local Missions: we partner with local agencies that provide needed services to members of our community
  4. National Missions: we help organizations that plant churches and spread the gospel
  5. Global Missions: we bring and share the gospel across the nations to those seeking God in even the most remote places such as Dominican Republic, Colombia and parts of Africa

Let us unite in faith to see our families, communities, and the nations restored through the power of prayer.
